I am a 31 year old Molecular Biologist, currently working on cancer at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer research institute.
I enjoy all sorts of outdors activities, from running to birdwatching, to watersports. Living
in Seattle there is plenty of opportunity for my wife and I to enjoy these things. As far as
star gazing goes, we have way to much cloud cover, but on clear nights I'm out there.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I belive there is life out there, and the possibilites for discovery are
very strong. I think that we should continue to listen for and yell out for contact. I think
we are just as nervous about contacting other ET's as they probably are about us.
Someday in the future mabye we will make contact, but our technology probably needs
another few hundred years to develop, and our environment needs some help if we are
all to remain a healthy species for that long. |
