I'm a computer programmer here in Little Rock, AR, member of the NRA, Officer in the Arkansas Rifle and Pistol Association, member of, and officer in the Arkansas Libertarian Party (the party of principle.)
John and Jake are my boys, 4 and 6. We're all avid science buffs. John even painted me a black hole while in school!
The Arkansas Libertarian party is currently attempting to remove the tax on food within the state of Arkansas.
The Arkansas Rifle and pistol association was instrumental in the passage of concealed carry here, and we continue to work to expanding the law which allows a legal means of protection for individuals and families. (And, ultimately, society as a whole.)

I enjoy this project about as much as anything I do on the computer. I'm a business programmer, but my heart has always been with the sciences. With this project, at least I feel like I am contributing in some small way.
I didn't have the patience or determination to pursue a career in the sciences. Thank God someone did. This project, in a small way, allows those of us who made other choices, to balance the scales a little with what we dreamed, versus what we did.
Many times we take a strictly bottom line view of the world. But little things like this remind us that dollars aren't the only measure of worth. Sometimes things need to be done, just because they are right. The search for knowledge is right, and probably our greatest, highest calling.
Is there life out there? Probably. Is it intellegent? Maybe. Be we need to know.
