et life? i believe we would be pretty spaced-out (pun intended) if we thought we were the only lifeform in all the cosmos.
discover it? short of little green men landing here, the only possible way we will know is by listening for them.
transmit? without a doubt, we shoulod transmit a binary code to space, make it simple, just the fact we exist should really wow an alien civilization. besides, we probably won't be around long enough to hear their answer. this is for the next generations to discover.
why? well, i'm sure they are out there, and if we don't listen, we can't hear. |
