Hello SETI World,
Im a Metallurgical Engineer living in Round Hill, Alberta, Canada.
Living in Rural Canada definately has its advantages when you want to see the stars.
With no lights around for 100 Km, the view is breathtaking. When the mosquito's
let me i take every oppoutunity to just lay back and watch the stars.

I definately believe that there is some kind of life in the galaxy besides "US"
on earth. The probability seems to be getting better by the day. With the latest discoveries
of new planets around close stars, i think that the probability that at least 1 of them has
life is practically 100%. On the other hand knowing how increadibly far apart
everything in the universe is, i think that the only way anything could be heard is if it was meant
to be heard. Otherwise its like listening for a mouse in a football stadium. Not very likely that you will
ever hear him. With that in mind i think a beacon would be the best way for us to yell "hey here i am"
you never know, someone might just hear us. |
