Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home?

That is simple; I refuse to believe that humans are the only life forms in this entire galaxy. Statistically speaking, that is impossible. If I can help, even in the smallest way, in helping to discover something or someone else, then that is why I am here.

2. What are your views about the project?

I think the overall idea behind SETI@home is a WONDERFUL idea. To join millions of computers, and millions of people for a single cause is the very basis of what world peace is built upon. Of course, I don't necessarily believe that SETI is looking in the right direction, but at very least the managers are doing something, and something is better than nothing.
