Yes intelligent life exists, it is only a matter of time before we find it (or it finds us). However, I believe right now we don't have the capacity. What I think might happen is in the future (more than 500 years from now), we will be travelling much farther than Earth and that is how I believe we will encounter other species. (I assumed we still exist more than 500 years from now)
Some things to ponder if we meet E.T. in the long long long run:
* Will the U.S. still be the super power?
* Will English still be the most spoken language? Will English still exist?
* Will political boundaries still exist?
* Will those humans who encounter E.T. have nothing to do with Earth. (They were born/raised on another planet/space).
* If we encounter E.T. will it be human?. |
