Personal background
I am 26 years old and I'm from Weymouth, MA. Since I got laid-off at a financial firm in June, I currently work in an educational theater company putting on plays about social issues effecting today's youth part-time. I also am a film school drop-out and now I am a student pursuing, web development and design at a local college. I love to study music and I currently play jazz guitar and sing in a local gig.

I find this sort of study very interesting. I'm not much of a scientific/math minded person, (unfortunately,.. I do try though, constant vigilance) however I do love to use my imagination. I guess I'm more into creating, music or art of all sorts.

The question, of truth and exisitence is always present in the forefront of my mind and that is why I think that this program is so intriguing to me. I'm amazed that things like this get done. Brilliant.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Again, I think that this program is amazing. What a job....

I do believe that extraterrestrial life exists. I believe that ET has been around for a long time, humans will discover or rather acknowledge it by opening their eyes' and minds. I still don't know much about this whole SETI project and how it all works and I wouldn't want to start rambling off terms I don't understand. My opinion is that any other outside intelligence far exceeds are own to ever analize, capture and understand. If we could and did some benefits could be, lightspeed travel and some dangers would be time travel.

I think a beacon for others to find would be wise. Sending what we believe our history is, information on evolution and ofcourse the industrial revolution and how the massive factory has effected and caused some problems with earth, maybe we'll get some answers or preventions from mass distruction or global dissasters, or at least a friendly safe place to recolonize elsewhere.

I run SETI@home because I want to have to have contact....I'll have to udate my views about the project once I look into more, agian, though, I think it's amazing.

Thank you,
Jeanette
