| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think Seti@home is a grand and wonderful idea which I fully support, however I also believe that if there is other intelligent life out there within a sensible distance (like 2000 light years) we would be aware of them by now. I think our part of the galaxy is pretty empty, that we are going to have to travel a very great distance or wait a very, very long time before we find anyone we can have a chat to. |
