I am a second year university student. I am working toward earning my Bachelor of Education degree for highschool/secondary level. My major is English Literature with a minor in Canadian History. I found out about this site from my Astronomy(a first-year non-major lab science course for arts students) professor's web page. I have just completed this class this week and one of the last topics to be discussed in this class was the search for extraterrestrial life forms and the research groups that are involved. I am a student of Kwantlen University College(Richmond campus) and apparently there is quite a few of us involved with this program. I would love to get in touch with my fellow colleagues about this and learn more about what I see on my screen.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I believe in scientific research must be done and ideally without any hidden corporate agendas being involved. If I can be part of a greater project that could further our understanding for the solar system, that is all I ask for. I do not have any money to be able to donate, but if you can use my laptop for this then great. We both win.
