Hi,
I´m from Germany, normally I started at SETI@home in 1999, but with my new comp i could not reactivate my old account and that is the reaseon why 12! results of me got lost! LOL (the old one was a 486/33)
ATM I´m student and so i have a lot of time for my comp to run SETI@home and other projects like UD (http://www.ud.com) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Why not? Til yet no one has proved that there is no extraterrestrial life. Perhaps we are the first life forms which send signals out!
2. Since the invetion of the radio we are sending signals out, so we have no need to transmit any special signs. Only then we are faster than the speed of light!
3. Er? I think we are not the only species in this universe, but why sould the "others" try to contact us? We still try to kill each other!
And SETI@home is runing on my comp because it does not need much resources (LINUX)!
