Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think the human race will be very arrogant if they think they are the only life in the universe. When and how we will discover ETI? - I don't know. What are the possible benefits and dangers os such a discovery? - It depend on the ETI that we discover is hostile and what type of technology they have, can they travel to earth or not, can they send objects to earth or not, the possibilities are huge.

2. Yes, I think we should send a beacon. What we should send is information on our location and our universal-political intend for obvious reasons.

3. If I could contribute more to the project I would have done so, please let me know...
