Hi, I am from Dublin, Ireland. I have only been connected up to seti@home since April. trying to find out if there is anything out there has always fasinated me and now I can take part in the search.

Yes I think that there is life outside of our planet. I dont know when humans will find it, i cant see it happening in my lifetime (of course I would love to). In regards to us transmitting a beacon in to space for others to find, yes it should be done. The information contained within it should be pure and simple, who we are, where we are, what we do, what we look like, music from around the palnet, things like that.
I run seti@home because i would like to hope that there is life outside our small planet and it is intelligent life, I do really think that we are not alone.
I think that the under taking of the seti project was a great idea. All those home and work computers around the world helping on the same search.
