| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I am keeping an open mind about the existence of extraterrestrial life. The possible benefits would be a chance to pull ourselves out of our intense focus on all our petty differences. The danger, of course, would be if they turn out to be our enemies.
2. Why should we bother with a beacon, since surely they know we're here.
3. I'm running SETI because I want to help out with an interesting cause. Keep up the good work. |
