My name is Mike Mayer. I live in Ontario, Canada. I am 31 years of age, married with two beautiful children (boy 11 girl 8).
I am a Professional Musician in a rock group called X-Hale, Web Page Designer and one heck of a nice guy!
My many hobbies include: anything outdoors, science/space/tech, computer/internet, music, brainstorming and spending time with family.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe extraterrestrial life does exist, and believe strongly that we are on the forefront of same major technilogical breakthroughs which SETI will be a big part of. I also believe that these new discoveries of extraterrestrial life will benefit us by broadening our scope of knowledge.
I think SETI @home is a great project and respect and admire thier efforts in the search for extraterrestrial life. The concept of linking pc's from around the globe through the internet to speed up the search process of the mass amounts of data is amazing and think that SETI @home is on the pioneering frontline of this technology.
I run SETI @home because I support the idea and the technology behind it, and of couse, like anybody else involved, hope to one day find ETI!
