I am a Network Eng with a large telecommunications company. I have been involved with computers since I was 17, now 54. When I started the PC had not been invented. I worked on IBM mainframes until I join the Army in 1971 where I worked as a comm. tech in Viet Nam for 1 year then in Colorado for another 2. I was discharged and returned to NCSS near NYC for another 8 years when I moved back to Colorado in 1979 and where I now live. I also ride Motorcycles (dirt and street). My partner and I will have been together for 20 year come November 2005. We have two Border Collies which we like to hike and camp with. My Partner is the head of the music department at a larger collage in Denver. We both like most all types of music.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I want to believe there is life on more than Earth. We can't be the only ones in this vast space. When the project started I had hopes it would continue for a very long time and all exceptions have come true. Keep up the good work.
