Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) I think that it is possible that there may be something out there... and maybe it is as intelligent as us and sending some radio signals out into the deep space... so that we may could hear them... maybe... When we discover? - When a Signal reaches us, and we notice about it... and maybe can decode... - Thee who is sure about a thing won't be as suprised as thee who isn't. And if it's dangerous, it will be even if we don't discover it.

2.) I think that it will be dangerous to take an active roll in taking on contact... It's better to stay silent, just listening...! Whoever is out there, if he's able to ship through space for long distances, he very surely is more dangerous than we are at the moment.

3.) Running it not to let the cpu cool down ;) - No, trying to do some preventive actions through running it for us all... I think, that it makes sense to support this - besides it's absolutely cool...

Continue as you're doing... Best regards from Germany...
...besides: Sorry for Ms. Daeubler-Gmaelin... I think she should take the consequences.
