Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why am I running SETI on my computer?

I am just doing my small part in trying to help find other life form[s].

Why, so we as human beings can focus our efforts on a vision of new life other then on ourselves. To find life out in this huge universe we call home, we {the human race }will then have a focus, a desire, a goal to explore to reach out to this vision.

As the Human race goes, we have many, many good and bad traits. But we as humans are by nature true explorers of knowledge and when given a challenge to go to a place no one has ever been to, "We only ask for a good ship, a good crew and map to get us there." We will endevor to find how to get there no matter what the cost or set back that may occur in trying to get there. We will get there someday.

If SETI proves that a life form[s] do exit outside oursmall blue world, the very idea of life being out there will drive us, and our childern's, childerns', childern's to seek them out and find them some how, some way.

And with God's aid, someday we may met them somewhere in this vacuum of space. It is a dream I believe can be real event someday.
