In considering the boundless galaxies and stars in the known universe it would be unwise to consider us to be alone. Proving that life may or may not exsist elsewhere is a difficult, costly and time consuming matter. What a better way to approach "the needle in the haystack" then by accessing the boundless resource of available computers throughout the world tied together by SETI.
