Well, to start with I live in Germany (Erfurt/Thüringen), I'm 27 years old and I'm a Web-Programmer (PHP-MySQL). I was "into" computers from the start; I can remember using the first KC 85/3 15 years ago. (Has it been that long?)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that it is the responsibility of every inhabitant of our planet to explore inner/outer space. SETI@home provides everyone with the opportunity to be a part of the exploration of the universe. I believe that we will eventually locate ET and hopefully unlock the secrets of the universe. It is nieve of use to believe that we are alone in this vast expanse. There must be others out there that are more advanced that can possibly help solve many of our societies problems such as disease and environmental issues. We must do our part to assist in the search of the heavens to find the answers to many questions. The search for ETI may provide these answers and ultimately benefit humanity.
