I am "xntrik", a 52 years young li'l hippie flower child who has turned into a Grandma, and is now trying to learn computers before my grandson! (He is almost 2!)

My reason for running Seti@home?
As a small child I experienced what folks back then called a "waking-dream". A dream that lasted the most part of the night; I kept the whole house awake! A dream that I still vividly remember. (I still swear to this day that I was NOT asleep...) I have learned that I am not alone, that others have had similar experiences. Even the creatures and events I saw were very much similar to those in the tales told by others! I believe there is a chance that these beings are trying to contact us, & that we may one day be able to communicate with them. |
