| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I definitely believe extratresstrial life exists, in one form or another. I think they will present themselves when the time is right or we will find something eventually, who knows, maybe through SETI. I think we could and will learn alot in the final outcome, but many with small brains may panic. It wouldn't hurt to transmit a beacon but I'm sure the ET life is already aware of our existence. I run SETI@home because I have always had an interest in what may lie outside our world, and because it would be a wonderful experience to be included in any new discoveries regarding alien life, as well as having my name as co-discoverer. It's an excellent project that gives people an opportunity to take part in what may be our most important discovery ever. Plus it gives us something to do. |
