Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI@home-member since 1999 I like to use seti@home for testing processor-power for different computer-platforms and operating systems. Some of the boxes I tested on: - Sun Solaris on Sparc - IBM AIX on RS/6000 - HP Desktops on Windows98 and NT (rather slow ;-) - Powermac G3/300 with Mac OS 9.1 (old but works nicely) - Powermac G4 Dual 500MHz PPC with Mac OS X 10.0.4 (real fast!) There is life outside of our solar system but we will not discover them, THEY will discover US! Hopefully they are peaceful and run all Macs!
