I am finnish webmaster/administrator who used to caculate RC5 codes at earlier years. Nowaday when I have a stable job, and "life", I can waste some time at work or at home to SETI.
Anyways, I have allways had some thoughts considering existance of ETI. And now I had a wicked idea to prove that to my self, that there are none. And at the same time I'll manage to prove to other sceptics that there are ETI.
Ok, I know that may sound bit weird, but that's the way how my thought do run. I wish someday my efforts will help SETI to gain the ultimate final result.
Wehey! Finland 11th at the country list, damn, I need to poison our network at work, then we shall rule the world...

Well I do not know will humans find anything from sky, expect more moons and asteroids. But I am certain of the content of the information we should send when SETI discowers something. The message should be following:
"Me olemme Suomen planeetalta, antautukaa, tai tulkaa tuhoamaan meidät, koska emme pääse sinne asti haastamaan riitaa."
Here is ruff translation:
"We are from planet Finland, surrender, or come here and destroy us, 'cause we can't get over there to make fight."
The reason why we should say something like this, is that if "they" do have sence of humor, they will answer. Humor will someday create the ultimate balance into universe. If it doesn't irony will... |
