Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
When I was Younger I was actually terrified of Alien and Alien Abduction Scenarios, yet had an overwhelming interest in the subject despite my fear.

Now that I am Older, I have lost my Fear but still Maintain my beliefe in the existemce of other Beings in Space.

It would seem rather Proposterous for Us to be the only Living Planet in the Entire Existence.

I think as Humans, it is important for us to "Transmit a Beacon" for Others to Find. I do not Play into Ideas of Malicious and Malevolent Beings out there

whose Primary Goal is to "Conquer the Galaxy" or what have You. Star Trek is Fantasy, and a set of Ideas I find Amusing on T.V. but Highly Irrational as well as Improbable in Reality.

I run Seti@Home to do as much as I can with what I am given. I feel the Project is Ingenious in it's Dynamics, and Hope that someday One of Us running this Software will come upon something Useable.
