I'm a senior year student at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. I'm doing a thesis on applied distributed systems.
I spend most of my time programming, but in my spare time I enjoy outdoor sports. I also like to read a lot, fantasy being my favorite genre.
As a special feature I collect stuff about dragons. I'm really intrigued these mythical creatures and look around for anything I can find about them... |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have signed up for SETI@Home since I'm pretty sure there is life somewhere out there. I don't know where it is, let alone how far and in what form... But in my humble opinion, it would be an important step for us to know for sure we are not alone in space.
I do believe that current technology may not be sufficient for what this project is trying to accomplish, but we just have to start somewhere, now don't we? And who knows... We just might strike lucky while trying! |
