Profile: Greg Burleson

Personal background
Well my name is Greg and I live in South Carolina. I am 22 years old and I use both my computer and my brothers computer to crunch the work units. I work in customer service but would really like to work with computers such as testing games and software or even do DBA once I get some training and such.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that ET does exist. I really am not sure how or when humans will discover it but I feel that it will happen eventually. I like to think more of the benefits than the dangers of meeting with ET. The benefits I think would include cures to most or all disease, ability to travel further into space than any probe we have sent has gone so far, new technologies. I don't think it would be a bad idea to submit some type of greeting message. As far as the type of info that I would submit it would basically be information on the creativity of the human species such as what we have accomplished technoligically, artistically and such. I personally run SETI@home because I like to have to opportunity to be able to help find signals from ET. I also like the screen saver that comes with the program (I konw its an extra). I don't have any suggestions as of this point on how the program could be changed or updated.
