Personal background
Hi! I'm Chris.

My home is in the city Schwarzenbek, near Hamburg (Germany). I'm 19 years old and male of course ;)
There is not much to tell about me, maybe that my english is bad, but that is not difficult to guess from my writing style :)
My computer: AMD Athlon Thunderbird 900@963MHz with fast (overclocked) CL2-RAM. It needs about 6-7 hours for one WU. Sometimes the computers of my mum and dad are running too, buts thats not often. I'm in the Team internet-foren.de.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I personally do not believe that we will be visited by "E.T.". Maybe life exists on other planets, it is quite possible because of the big amount of galaxys and stars. But I don't think that intelligent life exists on other planets. And even if it exists, it would be so far away, that they never would had the time to travel to planet earth. And btw: I don't believe in warp-technologie either ;)
So why I am "wasting" my cpu for SETI??? Thats simple: Just for fun! It is interesting to compete with friends and other teams. That is no big thing to start SETI. And why should my CPU loop noop's 99% of the time my computer is running?

HAVE FUN! And watch out for nasty aliens ;)
