Profile: Lew Levy

Personal background
I was born in 1959 growing up with the race to the moon and Star Trek! I am proud of my small contributions to space research through my membership in The Planetary Society and participating in SETI@home.

If you didn't gather from the picture, I love skiing, mountains, and lakes! That picture is from the top of the Heavenly ski area in Lake Tahoe. It is from the highest point you can get to at the ski area.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home in the hope of participating in the greatest discovery ever - the existence of extra-terrestrial life. SETI@home is a part of that great search. Despite the odds of finding a microbe, let alone a signal from an intelligent race, I am proud to participate in the search.
