Personal background
Hi, I am from Buffalo, NY, US. I am currently 18 years old and I am a first year college student in Rochester Institute of Technology majoring in Computer Engineering. That's all I have to say for now. I'll add more later as I get more ideas.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I really do not know whether or not extraterrestrial life exists. I am a total newbie in this matter. However, I do hope that extraterrestrial life does exist because I am intrigued with the idea of us not being alone in this vast universe. I guess anything is possible. I think the possible benefits of ET discovery would be technology exchanges and new cultures and ideas. The danger? I would have to simply say hostility.

Why I run SETI@home? Like I said, I am intrigued with idea of us not being the only life forms in the universe, which is why I support SETI@home. In my opinion, SETI is a very good science project and I think that if it does succeed one day, it would be one of the biggest discovery in our history and it would greatly enhance our science and technology.
