| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe life exists out there and hope that we discover it in my lifetime (be it microbes or bigger). The benefits to man would be great if we discover intelligent life and they are friendly. The danger if they are not could be catastrophic for us all.
I run seti@home because I want to contribute in a small way to the advancement of our understanding of the universe. Hopefully, we will find something and that it will help us advance into space.
