Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) Yes I think that extraterrestic life are exists.
Both ways are open, we can meet danger and non danger life in the space.
Therefore we should be careful when we contact them.
But I think that is a normally thinking of humans from the earth. :)
2) I think we sent enough information’s to the space. A beam to one ore more stars can increase the possibility to reach one, but the transmission time is at least the same. End when our transmission reaches an other star in 100 or 200 years then our technology should be increased to. Maybe we have more ways to communicate then.
I think all stars closer to us, don’t have got life that can communicate with us – radius around 50 light years or they are not interested to communicate with us, or there answer is back to us, but needs also time.
3) I think we should try to find out if there other civilizations are on the same level then we, but I don’t expect that we can communicate with them.
