Empecé con el Proyecto a mediados de 1999, y desde entonces fui experimentando varios cambios; en el 2000 me quedé sin computadoras donde ejecutarlo, en el 2001 se sumó una persona, en el 2003 me fui a vivir a Ecuador, en el 2004 me volvÃ, y con el regreso a Argentina, ya en el 2005, cambié a la nueva interfaz del BOINC.
Luego de un año sin correrlo, prácticamente, volvà a instalarlo, esta vez en mi primera PC propia, pero ahora estoy repartiendo los tiempos entre varios proyectos, dado que SETI@Home no siempre entrega WUs, aunque este siempre será mi principal Proyecto.

I started the Project in the middle 1999s and, since then, I've been through many changes with it; in 2000 I ran out of computers where to run it, in 2001 a person gave me a box, in 2003 I left my home coutry to live in Ecuador, in 2004 I came back and in 2005 I switched to the new BOINC interface.
After a complete year without running it at all, I reinstalled the BOINC software in my very first own PC, but now I've suscribed to several BOINC Projects due to SETI@Home frequent lack of WUs, however, this will always be my main Project. |

1.- Ejecuto SETI@Home porque me gusta participar en el Proyecto. Una 'Mancomunidad' de computadoras conectadas a un propósito común; en el momento en que se dio el Proyecto era algo muy ambicioso y el objetivo iba muy de acuerdo a un 'trekkie' que devoraba libros de Sagan y Asimov durante todas su etapa de juventud temprana.
2.- Como Proyecto está muy bueno y tiene utilidades más allá de la mera búsqueda de inteligencia extraterrestre, pues aunque no diga que los ET no existen, sàcreo que nos vamos a enterar de su presencia cuando ellos asàlo crean conveniente o necesario.
3.- Sugerencias:
Una página con estadÃsticas por paÃÂs, como en la versión clásica.

1.- I run SETI@Home because I like the idea of a computer 'Supergrid' connected to a common purpose, in the moment the Project was born it was something very ambitious and the objective was really according to a trekkie's one who virtually devoured books from Sagan and Asimov during his childhood and teenager years.
2.- As a Project it's really cool and useful beyond the seeking for ET; although I don't say ET do not exist, I do believe we won't be able to notice about their existance if they don't want to.
