| Im positive life exists elsewhere, if you look up at the night sky and make a decision that we are the only life in the universe, well lets just say thats a bit narrow minded. THEY will find us sooner or later, probably later, and hopefully the wont eat us when they get here. about the beacon thing, i dont know enough about transmitting a beacon into space to pass any judgement on that one, but if we are, i hope its a very wide beacon because there's an awful lot of space to cover. I run seti@home because i think its important to help with a project that means so much in the long run. plus i cant stand the bouncing 3d flowers or the perpetual castle wolfenstien maze screensaver that comes with windoze. |
