I live is Fairfield, CA. Retired from KGO-TV in San Francisco March of 2003. Member of the Planetary Society. Started with Seti@Home during it's initial startup. Now have a computer fast enough to make a good contribution to Seti@Home. Wife and I are going to start traveling with our motorhome now that we are both retired.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think Seti@Home is a very inovative project, and I see some others are jumping on the bandwagon with similar projects allowing greater than supercomputer crunching of data for very large projects.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
