I live and work in Apache Junction, Arizona and I am 64 years old. I am a full time volcanologist specializing in the long-range forecasting of volcanic eruptions. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I feel that SETI is a great idea and endeavour. Trained originally as an astronomer, I can appreciate the effort that we all are doing to find extra-terrestrial life. I do feel that extraterrestrial life exists elsewhere in the universe and think that we should send a beacon out. Afterall, we have been, in essence doing that since the first transmission of radio and television.
