Profile: Alex Tan Chee Don

Personal background
My name is Alex Tan Chee Don. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Architecture at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. I am a Malaysian and aged 25 years old.

I am a vivid fan of science fiction and is always fascinated with the question of life exists in the universe. I believe that life do exists somewhere out there, as the universe is vast and infinity. I am glad that seti@home provides me the chance to take part in the search for extra-terrestrial. It's just a matter of time before we finally pick up the signal on the right spot, the right location, the right altitude and the right moment.

Seriously, science fiction plays an important part in my architecture study. i even proposed and designed a SETI Institute in Perth as part of my design project for last year. Currently, i am doing my thesis entitled "Conquer the Red Planet: Architecture of the Space Colony", which deals with the aspects of the integration of architecture as a design tool to shape quality space for the first habitat on planet Mars. I am still trying to come up with the best design.

i hope SETI would be interested to take a look at my design project (the SETI Institute in Perth) and perhaps display it in this great webpage to be viewed by every member who are interested.

Thank you.

All the best to everyone in tracking the signal from heaven. i can't wait to see someone pick up the signal as soon as possible. Good luck!
