Profile: Ludoviko

Personal background
I am from Temuco, Chile (far on the cold south). I am a college student since 2000.
I am 19 years old, my birthday is May 1st, so I can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t see my friends that day.

What interesting can I say about myself?
I'm stu-dying now in the area of Informatics, and working as sysadmin in college facilities, working on Windows+Linux orientation and programming languages. I try to spend some quality time with friends, as we've being torn apart by th Rules of Market.

I'm also watching "24", God I love that series.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
After several years being in SETI@Home, I __still__ think the Universe is big enough to hold two or three "interesting things". But either for all of us interplanetary communications is a difficult matter, or somehow we manage to "underinterest" in another civilizations (happens here at least).

Let's hope at least that changes.

Altough I think mankind is not evolved enough to use even simple radios, the effort is being made to learn how to live with other species in our own planet altogether. In the meantime we explore the Universe and maybe, when the time comes we find someone else out there, we are evolved enough to convive and interact with species that are not in Kansas anymore.

And, when we meet some other extraterrestrial lifeforms, I think the first message we must send, not just then but the whole Universe, would be this:

"We Knew it!"
