Background:
I am 24 Years old and come from southern Germany. I'm a Student of Computer Science at the University of Erlangen/Bavaria.
Interests:
My main Interest is my Girl-Friend, but besides i am interested in
Cartoons (the Simpsons, Ran&Stimpy etc...). I have been playing
Bass Guitar for 7 Years and doing Judo for 17 Years now.
Computer Description
I am currently running seti on the following machines:
AMD Athlon-C 1330MHz, 1536MB RAM (24/7) - my file- and compute-server
intel 486DX2/50, 64MB RAM (24/7) - my router
and on my client machines:
2 x AMD Duron 800MHz, 384MB RAM
iPentium-II 450MHz, 256MB RAM
iPentium-II 400MHz, 192MB RAM

I read about setiathome in a news article.

Why do you run SETI@home?
before running seti all my Computers ran, but had nothing to do.
now they are doing something useful.
Thoughts about SETI
I don't think that there's anyone out there within the area we are able to reach,
but if there really was anyone out there, he/she/?? truly deserves being found.
