1.) I Am Uncertain If Extraterrestrial Life Exists. Benefits Would Be Joining Of Our Knowledge And Theirs, Possibly New Places For Us To Live And Visit - Dangers Would Of Course Be If They Are Hostile Towards Us, Which Could Mean A War And Even Human Extinction.
2.) I Feel We Should Transmit A Beacon For Others To Find - We Could Possibly Combine Our Resources To Benefit All Of Us. I Feel The Main Thing Would Be Sending Out A Peace Beacon.
3.) I Run Seti@Home Because This Way My Computer Is Doing Something Useful When I Am Either Not Doing Anything Or I Am Just Goofing Around. I Think The Project Is A Great Idea And Also A Great Tool And Proof Of Good Technology. |
