Hello,
My interest in SETI is three fold
1. I like the idea that Human kind can realise their potential and could find other sentient beings in the void of space.
2. I enjoy seeing the grand challenge executed with the largest distributed computing and non computing collaborative effort the world has seen.
3. Closer to home I am engaged daily to design solutions for clients and in particular iSeries which has a multiple personality allowing intel CISC PowerPC RISC processors t ooperate in a single unit with OS/400, Win NT , Win 2k, and Linux environments. SETI is an application that runs most of these.
