Personal background
I'm a twenty-eight year old South African, currently living and working in London.
I have two passions, one is ground breaking technology and the other is theoretical science.

I'm studying astronomy, just as a hobby at this stage, with the view to someday get more actively involved with the scientific community.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is no doubt in my mind about the existence of extraterrestrial life. The fact that you are reading this confirms; the universe is capable of one planet with intelligent life, why not another, or two or maybe 20.... Who knows? The fact is we have no idea what’s out there, very X-Files… I know . But this is why we at least have to try.

Exploration of the unknown is vital to our survival, this is the only way we can expand and create new and exciting industries to keep this organism we call humanity occupied
