Personal background
Macedonian, born in 1977, student of Computer Engineering, likes computer music (a lot). SETI@home is the reason that my computer spends significantly more time being turned on than usual. :))))))))

I believe that we will find extraterrestrial intelligence when we are ready to accept that we (the human race) are not the only one race intelligent enough to have a full understanding of the universe. The human culture in general is still not developed enough and our intelligence is far from sufficient to fully understand the world around us. The human race is still in its childhood... We have a long way to go before earning the right to discover an extraterrestrial intelligence.

Nevertheless, I'm proud to be a part of this world-wide search.

Peace be with you.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI@home got me infected when I first saw it. I knew I had to take part in it or else. :)))))))))

The human race is still in its childhood. We are not ready nor worthy of discovering an extraterrestrial intelligence yet. When we do become ready and worthy, we will find it. SETI@home will probably be the first to discover it. Therefore, I'm in and I'm giving my contribution.

Actually, I believe we do not need to find an extraterrestrial intelligence as of now... we are all aliens to ourselves. We all live in different worlds, despite the fact that we are all on the same planet. But if an extraterrestrial intelligence exists out there, we are not ready yet to find it. I cannot say when and whether at all we will be ready, but if we discover it, I honestly hope that all the human race will act as one . There are just too many divisions and discord between people. I hope finding another intelligence will give the human race a reason to unite.
