Personal background
My birthday is in August and I was born in 1976.

I work at a bookstore/book exchange in my hometown somewhere in Southern New Jersey. I meet lots of interesting people, and possibly a few aliens too!

I also study Astrology, and have been seriously studying on my own for the past three years. One day I hope to have my own business, maybe right next door to the bookstore I work at now, or so I tell my boss :)

Last year I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and for all those who also have FMS and CFS, you know what I mean when I say you are forced to look at life in a different way.

Also for all of you who do not know what Fibromyalgia is look for Public Service Announcements at your local public areas and hopefully on the radio and television. Sunday, May 12th is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. Also www.fmnetnews.com/pages/basics.html for an explanation of symptoms.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think that ET's exist! Hopefully we will discover them when we have overcome our problems here on Earth, and finally realize that we must unite as a people, and as a planet. Aliens don't have to be so nice, and who knows if they want to have us a cattle, and the Earth as our field, or if they want to throw down flowers at our feet.

I believe it is a dangerous thing to transmit a beacon. Do you get a shark, or a nice little fishy you can put on ice and have for lunch if you want? It's a gamble with no way of knowing the true odds. If we had to send something I would have to say the only thing that makes sense is something in the mathematical language, pi and so forth.

SETI@home is an honorable endeavor. Humans are curious, and just the search for anything that is something I think keeps many of our hopes up that there is so much more to look forward to and to work for.
