| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

ET's definitely exist. SETI is the best bet for contact. When, not if, contact is made
the reaction in the World will be much more amazing than the "Contact" movie or Carl
Sagan's book. If first contact is dramatic, as in the movie, then one would hope
that everyone would see our World issues as less imposing and therefore solvable. When contact is made our search for
solutions begins, our search for meaning begins. SETI could be a big part of that.
