Profile: Kevlar

Personal background
My name is Kevin, and I live, play and work in Vancouver, Canada. As a web developer, I sometimes know of a machine or two that might be able to donate a few cycles.

Let's hope that all this listening to noise produces something more intelligent then the average earth emission.

I seem to have changed emails a few times in the last 5 years, so I start a new Seti account each time. Welcome to this incarnation.

For more information, feel free to drop me a line or ICQ # 51331298.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) Great Idea. Glad it hasn't caught on for other applications or we might never find intelligent life out there.

2) Lets hope other life forms don't use something like SETI. They would think we are all worshipping "I Love Lucy". I would avoid (Quarantine?) a planet like that, wouldn't you?

3) There HAS to be intelligent life out there - There is some intelligence in at least 1 of every 1000 people I meet. If humans can do it, others can too. Better.

4) Humans rely on the other life forms to visit earth, since we lack true interstellar travel, both technically and financially. Lets hope they are better drivers then us.
