Interested in anything bigger than myself.. A mountain, a flowing river, A tumbling stream etc....
It makes folks feel nice,safe and cozy to think they are the supreme beings.. but were not.. we don't even know what causes us to have to breathe.... And when we get old and can't even tie our shoelaces, we realize we are merely returning to the dust from whence we came...And other religious ones may condemn me for looking for ET, but my real quest is for the MAKER OF THE STARS.
I am reminded of an old song.... Who made the mountains, who made the sea, and who made the rivers that run to the sea, and who hungs the lamps in the starry sky.. somebody bigger than you and I.
Our hope is beyond the physical we understand and into another realm...not measurable with physical tools....
If there be other beings.. we may find them.. if they seek to be found....
We are a noble spirit encased in a frail form.....
The eternal spirit within us is the only real tool able to communicate into the realm we seek.... Call it telepathy or what you will, but the form of communication we play with is trivial compared to psychic and spiritual communication which knows no physical boundaries.
If time and space knows no limit..then the other side of the galaxy is as reachable as the end of my little finger.

I might as well let my computer do something useful...And its fun to be a part of a group worldwide intrested in the same goal.
We are not the end of ourselves... We want to find someone else in the universe that is similiar to us to gain from them.. but reason tells us that anything much more advanced than us, will have no problem "evading" our radar?
I think we would be very foolish to think that there is a God so big yet He only created us?.. That's a bit egocentrical? We may be the apple of His eye, but "We" may be bigger than we realize! The fact that God is real does not discount the possibility that He may have created other beings also and has a plan for them also... possibly the same plan of salvation on a different scale?
Or maybe they are part of us that escaped the earth years ago before technological devestation.. who knows how advanced we were before noahs day, or the tower of babel?
Many scholars believe there was a race before adam... bad angels, but all demons are bad.. they all walk in differing levels of authority.... demons may be the remains of the race that was here when satan was cast down from heaven and had his influence upon them, now those demons are "disembodied disobedient spirits
Who knows how long the earth has been supporting life and how advanced they got.. there are many "Holes" in the bible where tons of stuff could have happened...Seems the big issue about whether to believe in ET or not is whether it can coexist with our religious dogma?.. Once upon a time.. if you believed the earth was not flat.. you were not of God....
Lets admit it.. there is too much we don't know... Presence of life among us on different planes.. "spiritual planes and such".. there is so much we don't know and cannot see. We know there are forms of communication between ourselves that are not measurable on the radiographic scale... Even the bible says.. "the kingdom of God is among you"
Maybe we are all really seaching for the end of ourselves.. God. |
