| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| ET's may or may not be. One day, perhaps, we'll know for sure, though I do not think I will be alive at that point of time. But hey, we still don't know what all Earth contains, nor will Earth cease to come up with new lifeforms. I find it hard to believe that none of the (possibly) millions of planets we've discovered can harbor life. The intelligence part? Well... that's a matter of opinion. I believe the universe is young, we may be the only inhabitated celestial body at the time... but sooner or later we will probably inhabit others, and others, and space will essentially become a big Earth. Who knows? However, if the game has nothing to lose, all the more reason to play! |
