Personal background

Well, first of all, I love the idea of someone like us (more or less) at the other side of the galaxy living their lives and trying to contact with anyone different of them.
I'm from Jaen, a city of Spain, in Andalucia, I live in a college with others 147 students of university. Now I'm trying to be a good Informatic engineer to do something interesting with my life and I love, really love, everything related with the space.
I'm 20 years old and my bigger hobby is read. I read all that fall into my hands, manuals, newpapers, all ... Now I'm reading the lord of the rings, a great book.
I like rugby and basketball, play RPG games and paint miniatures too.

Of course, that is only the beginning of all, I'll post something else shortly, but now I haven't got too much spare time to do that things ;)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course i think, better, i believe that, a extraterrestrial life, but we will need to spend more time and money if we want to discover it, because we are making some progress, but it's only a small amount of all than we'll do to make it true shortly, but like in other cases, politic is omnipresent in that things. I think discovery will be dangerous or benefit for us depends our actions and manners of think.

I run SETI@home because I want to give all that I have for the space and life in others locations of the galaxy, so I colaborate with the program to feel more involucrated into this.
A suggestion? well, how about getting a real known of the work to the users? I mean, I wanna know if I find something interesting or if someone have found something in the last week or something else like that.
