Personal background
Hi there! I live in Buenos Aires Argentina but prefer to think I'm a cosmopolitan citizen.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I grew up watching Star Trek and reading Carl Sagan and as a trekkie I became hope and I'm convinced exists life in other places outside Earth, Why we have to be the only?. So:
1- Yes, I think life must be a common thing, it's depend of the meaning of life you want to choose.
As always in the process of discovering or being discovered exists dangers explicit and implicit, just remember the occupations of America by European, new concepts of civilization, new deceases etc etc etc.
2- Does Gilligan transmit beacons to be rescue?. Are we Gilligan. If we have to be rescue for same reason is of our selves.
Yes we have to send probes and transmit beacons. If Humans have pride.
I am not qualified to say what had to be included, but this time please not let "Here comes the sun" out!

3- I believe one day, thanking to proyect as SETI@home we will not be alone anymore.
