| My Name is Markus Lempke, I am twenty years old and I recently moved to Stuttgart because I am studying Aeronautical and Astronautical Technology at the University there. Someday I'd like to become an astronaut and to be the first man on the mars, but... well, we'll see. In my leasure time I enjoy playing the guitar. Furthermore I am interested in all fields of natural sciences, especially physics. As far as music is concerned it has to be mentioned that I like many different styles (Metal, Rock, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Classical Music), but nothing electronical!! |

| I am absolutely sure that extraterrestrial life exist, which is also the reason why I am taking part in the SETI@home programme. Of course I don't now when the first contact will take place, but I hope I will still be alive then. To improve the chance of finding or being found by another species out there I think it is essential that we transmit a beacon. |
